Plast Mould Industries is committed to operating in an environmentally responsible manner and complying with all applicable environmental legislation and regulations.
2. Scope
This Environmental Policy applies to all Company operations, including:
- Manufacturing and production areas
- Tool room and maintenance activities
- Storage and warehousing
- Site activities and support functions

4. Key Actions
We implement waste segregation at source, regrind suitable plastic scrap, and work with recycling partners for non-regrindable plastics.
Hazardous waste is handled and disposed of only through authorized vendors.
We conduct periodic energy audits, convert to energy-efficient lighting (such as LEDs), run motor and equipment efficiency programs, and follow preventive maintenance schedules to optimize machine performance.
We promote rainwater harvesting where feasible, reuse and recycle cooling water, and systematically detect and repair leakages. .
We use Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), follow proper chemical storage protocols, and maintain spill response procedures and kits to prevent environmental contamination.
We prefer suppliers that demonstrate sustainable practices and, for critical suppliers, may require environmental documentation and compliance evidence.
We conduct training and awareness programs to educate employees on waste reduction, energy conservation, and proper disposal of materials.
5. Compliance & Monitoring
We monitor relevant environmental parameters such as emissions, effluent (where applicable), and waste generation, and maintain records as required.
We comply with environmental permits, legal requirements, and statutory reporting obligations.
Internal environmental audits are conducted at least once a year to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
6. Review & Targets
We set measurable environmental targets, such as:
- Energy consumption per unit of production
- Water use per unit of production
- Waste to landfill or disposal volume
These targets are reviewed quarterly as part of management review.
Corrective actions and improvement projects are defined and tracked to support continual environmental performance improvement.
